Many parents smoke in front of their children though they know that it is harmful for their children. It encourages to the kids to start smoking in their premature age. On the other, according to a new research exposure to environmental tobacco smoke which is commonly called ETS could get worse asthmatic symptoms in children.
The study group of University of Alabama followed more than 240 kids with asthma. The kids were receiving normal care or supervised asthma therapy. During the research period, they were provided around 20 minutes of asthma education. Apart ETS, the learning was incorporated discussion on the avoidance and prevention of asthma triggers. After that, the researchers got the youngster whose ETS exposure plunged; very few of them get hospitalized. So, everyone should always concern about ETS in order to maintain kids health.
